Everything we produce at Abbey Farm Cottage is made with love and attention.
Our cheeses are made from our own Raw Goat Milk and are made completely by hand by Jonty and Suzie.
We pack and weigh each cheese individually by hand.
The milking process is the only process which includes a machine. Our girls are milked in pairs using a two goat milker.They hop up onto the milking table and each goat has a preference to which side they stand!
Our Meat is either from our pedigree Boer Herd or a by product of the milk herd. All of our kids are raised by their mums until weaning.When the time comes after a minimum of 15 months Jonty takes the boys to a small Slaughter butcher we have identified to ensure that their stress levels are minimised.
