All About the Goat

We don't only make our award Winning Cheese here at Abbe Farm Cottage, but in an attempt to reduce our waste we also make Goats milk Soap.

Our Rosedale Soaps are made by hand in small batches on our farm in the north York Moors to reduce waste we use milk that isn’t made into our award-winning cheeses and to increase our sustainability we use the Whey from the cheese making process.

All ingredients where possible are locally sourced even down to the Olive Oil! Which comes from a neighbour who has an Olive Grove in Montefrio, Spain.

Our Goats Milk Soap Base

Ingredients (English): Olive oil, Goats milk, Coconut oil, Aloe Vera Juice.

Ingredients (INCI): aqua (water), olea europaea (olive oil), caprae lac (goats’ milk), cocos nucifera oil (coconut oil),0.001% Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera Juice (which contains Citric Acid, Sodium Benzoate and Potassium Sorbate)

Our Goats Milk Whey Soap Base

Ingredients (English): Olive oil, Goats milk whey, Coconut oil, Aloe Vera Juice.

Ingredients (INCI): olea europaea (olive oil), caprae lac whey (goats’ milk whey), cocos nucifera oil (coconut oil),0.001% aloe barbadensis (Aloe Vera Juice (which contains Citric Acid, Sodium Benzoate and Potassium Sorbate)

To our soap bases we add either natural essential oil, local heather honey and Oatmeal or we leave them natural to enjoy the goodness of the soap.

We currently have 6 types of goats’ milk soap which are:

Natural, Heather Honey and Oatmeal, Bergamot, Cedarwood and Lime, Lavender and Lemon Grass.

Which are available in 85g and 60g bars

Along with

The Natural Rosedale Whey and Geranium and Rose-dale Whey

Which are also available as 85g and 60g bars with the addition of rose shape Geranium and Rose-dale Whey.
