Juniper’s Determination Shines Through
Three weeks into Juniper’s treatment, she began showing signs of progress. She was still too weak to stand, but she wasn’t letting that stop her. To my amazement, she started dragging herself across the barn floor—determined to move.
One morning, while feeding her sister and the rest of the goats, I heard a faint rustling. Turning around, I was shocked to see Juniper had somehow made her way across the barn to join the others! She had dragged herself all that way, determined to be with her herd.
That was the moment I knew Juniper wasn’t giving up, and neither were we. Her spirit was unbreakable, and she was showing us all what true determination looks like.
Next time, I’ll share how she began to stand on her own and take her first steps toward walking again.
